There are many reasons why some cars become popular. At the same time, there are many cars that their customers feel should have become popular but they don’t.  It is far easier to identify why some cars have become popular. Over time, customers preferences change. Some brands weather the changes well, and some don’t.

Toyota Corolla was first launched in Japan and was later released in other markets too.  This car model is popular in both USA and  Taiwan in addition to Japan. Now in its 12th generation, this car was first launched in 1966. Every four years a new generation of Corolla is typically launched by Toyota motors.  Even the 50th anniversary of the car launch was celebrated in 2016.

The car has changed much over the years and the current model is vastly improved over the original model in both technology and dimensions.
